Modern Message Champion Q1 Winners

At Modern Message our purpose is to create rewarding experiences and power appreciation for our employees, for our clients and for your residents. With this in mind, we wanted to create a friendly quarterly competition for our clients that would result in a $250 reward for the winning multifamily and student housing community that participated.

The new competition, called “Modern Message Champion,” is designed to motivate onsite community managers to utilize Community Rewards features such as, Create a Custom Action Item and Create a Custom Poll, in order to garner more participation from residents at their communities. Since we know incentives work on Community Rewards for the residents, we figured we should facilitate an incentive for our clients that utilize the platform and all it’s capabilities well.

Since announcing the competition in January of 2018, we have observed communities tagging Community Rewards or Modern Message on social media with photos of the game, replying to resident reviews, responding to open alerts, crafting custom actions, utilizing our Custom Incentives Program, and sending us photos of their teams promoting Community Rewards onsite at their communities. All of these things ultimately resulted in higher player participation across the board.

We were thrilled to see our clients utilizing the dashboard and all our many features to their fullest potential. By the end of quarter we did have to select only one conventional and student housing winner based on results from the competition… and we are happy to announce that the winners of our FIRST Modern Message Champion contest are: 

Multifamily: The Chapman - Drucker & Falk management and 
Student Housing: Grove Moscow - Asset Campus Housing management

The Chapman started using Community Rewards in January of 2018 and came out of the gates HOT! In their first 3 months, The Chapman created 10 polls and 3 custom action items. But they didn’t stop there! The team also responded to 100% of their new resident reviews during Q1. Not to mention, The Chapman team promoted Community Rewards on social media with this awesome video. Congratulations to The Chapman!

Grove Moscow started using Community Rewards over 2 years ago – WOW! Not only are they utilizing Community Rewards at their community, but they are also benefiting from Social Media Ads and our Custom Incentives Program. This past quarter the team at Grove Moscow created a total of 4 polls and 10 custom actions items, which resulted in an above average resident participation rate of 72%! Did we mention that they also received and responded to 70 resident reviews during Q1? Congratulations to Grove Moscow!
